Strategy:
Many people of Bangladesh are not aware of their basic human and civic rights. The situation is worse in northern part of Bangladesh. Poor people especially women and children are the most vulnerable. Lack of education and lack of access to available information, poverty, injustice and social prejudice are some of the reasons all malpractice against their rights.
SKS is currently working on rights and justice issues of the disadvantaged and destitute people. SKS firmly believes that poor and vulnerable people will never be able to establish their rights unless they raise their voice. Thus the most important strategy of SKS to establish rights of the vulnerable people is to make them aware on their rights. Capacity building of the local government bodies to provide legal support to the victims, improve gender situation, empower women to establish their rights, provide legal aid support to the victim and advocacy at the central level will be the other strategies of SKS.
